Last month I flew out to Anaheim for a weekend with a few friends and had a BLAST spending time at Disneyland and attending the 4 Continents Figure Skating Championships. One of my friends is a major Disney foodie and made sure we hit some of the nice restaurants while we were there.
Enter: Steakhouse 55
Steakhouse 55 is located at the Disneyland Hotel right next to Goofy’s Kitchen. We were actually laughing at that because all that separates the waiting areas for the two restaurants is a big curtain and seeing them side by side really shows their differences. Steakhouse 55 is calm and “fancy” for lack of a better term. They have a very classic color scheme and it’s quiet. Goofy’s kitchen
We decided to have breakfast/brunch at Steakhouse 55 on Sunday before we headed to 4CC. We had done Disneyland the day before this and eaten tons of other stuff then. Our reservation was at 9:30(?) am I believe and the restaurant was almost empty. Also, the place is so classy I was like 😳. We were all in jeans and I felt like I probably should have been more dressed up but the few other people in the restaurant were dressed for a casual day at Disneyland so it wasn’t a big deal.
Steakhouse 55 is a little bit pricey but, it’s a steakhouse, to be expected. I ordered the Stuffed Brioche French Toast. I was NOT expecting what I got. When they rolled the cart out to us literally all of our jaws dropped. It’s a CUBE of french toast. FILLED WITH CREAM AND BERRIES. I’m not even being dramatic when I say it was incredible. Check out some of the 500 pictures I took of it:
Seriously I’ve been craving more of that stuff basically every day since.
How was it overall?
The food was amazing, our waiter was fantastic, and the environment was A+. I’ve already told my family that next visit we are 1000% having breakfast at Steakhouse 55.
Another quick thing to mention is that Steakhouse 55 has AP discounts! I unfortunately forgot my AP back at our hotel and wasn’t able to use it but I believe it is either 10% or 15%!
